Grant Jardell’s new foster brother is hiding a dangerous secret. So dangerous, it conceals a component that is central to a plot aimed at assassinating an evangelist during a national crusade event. The plot, devised by an evil cult, involves the use of a mothballed CIA project that is missing a vital piece, the location of which is hidden within the mind of the autistic foster boy. With the cult and the FBI chasing after the child, it is up to Grant and his teenage friends to follow a series of clues that will not only challenge their deductive and reasoning skills, but Grant’s own faith in the process. As they work through the coded clues, they do not realize the serious ramifications for their quest that not only was the life of the evangelist at risk, but that the very souls of the congregation could be in jeopardy. It is up to the teenagers to avoid apprehension and find the mystery component before it falls into the wrong hands, turning what was designed to be a joyous occasion into a complete nightmare.

The Millennia Stone edition by Adam Lynch Children eBooks

I would again recommend this book to both teens AND their parents, as I did the last time, because Mr. Lynch targets teenagers but hooks their parents, too. As an educator, I`d feel confident assigning the Lynch novels to my students. As a parent of teenagers, I'd buy my teens their own copy. They bring real world issues and the Bible together without being preachy. This novel in particular speaks with such intensity, and from the heart, that I have to admire the author's courage. My single frustration was that Grant should give himself more credit. I suspect that, like myself and other writers, Mr. Lynch incorporates real life into his work. Ergo, birds of a feather flock together, Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends, and I wish that 'Grant' would consider the results before berating himself. MUCH respect to you, Mr. Lynch. WELL done. Again. Not surprised at your excellence. Par for the course.
